Spring into life

On a fine spring morning, somewhere in the mid of March....

As usual, I started off for work in the morning and had hundreds of things on my mind. I began planning out my day, and was soon immersed in loads of personal and professional list of to-dos for the day. Oblivious to the activities happening outside on the road, I began thinking deeply, but as I approached the Sarjapur road, mother nature surprised me with her beauty. At once, my focus changed from the day-to-day worries to the beautiful canopy of brilliantly colored flowers along side the roads. That's when I realized that this beauty is because of the onset of the spring season. The queen of all seasons, spring is here! The pleasant sight  instantly brought a smile on my face uplifting my mood in no time :)

In the months of spring, the trees lining up the roads are in full bloom with vibrant and colorful flowers. It is indeed a spectacular watch and great kick-start of the day! Whatever be your state of mind, mother nature has got the prowess to draw you towards her, fill you with her energy and revive you. Truly marvelous!

Spring is the most fascinating seasons of the year, especially in Bangalore city. Spring comes after winter, providing a relief from the chilling climate. It is neither too cold nor too hot; the weather is just getting warmer and nicer. The days are longer and brighter, more time outdoors, more to live and more to life!

During spring, driving along the roads of the Bangalore city is a delightful sight, with amazingly refreshing colors everywhere. Towards Lal Bagh and Airport road and many other parts of the city, the trees on either sides intermingle and form natural arches. It appears as if the city has been colored with crayons. The entire city looks picturesque!

Having shed all the leaves and flowers, the trees look lifeless towards the end of Feb, making the atmosphere feel dull and lacking in vigor. But with the arrival of Spring, it feels like the world has come back to life; the trees start flowering and regaining the leaves. It is an absolute feast to the eyes to watch the re-birth of the nature, the birds singing gleefully, the grass looking greener than ever, the air filled with a sweet scent and the butterflies flying around joyfully; the city appears to be throbbing with life, energy and exuberance, as if there is an air of celebration in the nature and each us is being invited to be part it.

Nature has always been the best teacher; silently and implicitly teaching us the ways of life. If we closely look at the way the spring arrives, there is an inherent message that bad times do not last for ever, they are always followed by good times. But even in tough times one has to keep faith and hope and keep working hard. And let nature take its course!

Savor the beauty of the season and stay close to nature! Relax and feel the nature around you, it will surely spring you into life, bringing back all the dormant energy.

Happy Spring time!
